OshTU research projects
According to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Science and on the Fundamentals of State Scientific and Technical Policy”, “Regulations on the procedure for financing scientific, Scientific, Technical and innovative activities from the Republican budget”, approved by Resolution No. 429 of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 6, 1999, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic annually conducts a competition for scientific-research and development work on a government order.
Currently, Scientific and Technical Councils for the formation of government orders have been established in all government agencies and administrative departments.
In order to implement the Protocol of the Council on Science, Innovation and New Technologies under the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 21-36 dated June 7, 2019, research and development work is carried out on a competitive basis by state order. Currently, Scientific and Technical Councils for the formation of government orders have been established in all government agencies and administrative departments.
Since 2021, as part of digitalization, an online admission program has been introduced for conducting a research and development competition.
OshTU annually participates in the competition for the implementation of research and development work of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Control over the implementation of state scientific research projects is carried out by local government bodies (Osh City Hall) and the Scientific and Technical Council of Osh Technical University.
OshTU completed 4 research projects in 2022.
1. Creation of a management and monitoring system for solving logistical problems of vehicles in the Osh city network.

“Development of technology for the production of food protein concentrates and biologically active additives of functional orientation from local raw materials”;
“Development of systems (software products) for modeling and analyzing emergency situations (by type) using geographic information systems”;
“Improving the methods of highway design based on zoning differentiation”;
“Determination of the negative impact of intensive extraction of sand and gravel material from riverbeds and watercourses.”
