By order of the rector of Osh Technological University No. 7-01/344 dated March 16, 2001, the Architecture, Design, and Graphics Sector was established within the Construction Production Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Construction. On October 8, 2004, by order of the rector of OshTU No. 09-04/319, the Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics was established.
Currently, Associate Professor Elmira S. Rysbekova is acting as the head of the department. The Department of Architecture, Design, and Graphics is located in Building 2 of Osh Technological University, Room 2/106. The department provides full-time training to prepare highly qualified specialists in the following areas: 750100 “Architecture” and 750200 “Architectural Environment Design”, duration of study – 5 years. In training highly qualified specialists, the Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics works in close cooperation with the departments of urban planning and architecture, design institutions and firms of the Republic.
Educational activities of the department: In order to achieve greater success in teaching students and realizing their views and creative ideas, the department has entered into agreements with institutions and organizations that have their own workshops. These are the workshop of the Osh Regional Department of Urban Planning and Architecture and Arch. Aalam LLC.
