The subject-cycle unification “Construction” was created on June 6, 2016 by the decision of the Academic Council of OshTU based on the order of the rector of OshTU No. 09-04/171 dated 06.06.2016.

The subject-cycle unification of Construction is located at: Osh, st. N. Isanova, 81, OshTU, office 2/116.
Currently, 937 students are studying at the department, of which 650 are full-time students, 287 students are part-time students.
Qualification. After graduation, graduates receive state diplomas with the qualification “technician”.
Graduates of the department will be able to work in construction, road, architectural organizations, as well as in design firms, such as the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the city of Osh and districts of the Osh region, LLC “ZhBI-20 Plant”, “ZhBI-4 Plant”, OJSC “Dolboor”, LLC “Arkh-Aalam”, LLC “Ramzan Company”, LLC “Bekstroy”, etc., with which the department closely cooperates.

The general topic of the department is earthquake–resistant construction.
Within the framework of the formulated topics, scientific research of the members of the department is carried out on the following topics:

Research of ceramic wall materials using local raw materials in the southern region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Development and research of reliability and durability of precast reinforced concrete structures based on local raw materials.
Development of an integrated technology for the production of precast reinforced concrete using solar energy.
Research of local building materials for the production of low-grade cements.
Development and research of effective metal structures in construction.
