The Department of Construction is located at: Osh, st. N. Isanova, 81, OshTU, office 2/116.
Currently, 468 students are studying at the department, of which 304 are full-time students, 164 students are part-time students.
Qualification. After graduation, graduates receive state diplomas with the qualification “technician”.
Graduates of the department will be able to work in construction, road, architectural organizations, as well as in design firms, such as the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the city of Osh and districts of the Osh region, LLC “ZhBI-20 Plant”, “ZhBI-4 Plant”, OJSC “Dolboor”, LLC “Arkh-Aalam”, LLC “Ramzan Company”, LLC “Bekstroy”, etc., with which the department closely cooperates.

Scientific directions of the department
The general topic of the department is earthquake–resistant construction.
Within the framework of the formulated topics, scientific research of the members of the department is carried out on the following topics:
Development of methods for determining the maximum seismic loads of multi-storey frame buildings.
Research of ceramic wall materials using local raw materials in the southern region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Development and research of reliability and durability of precast reinforced concrete structures based on local raw materials.
Development of an integrated technology for the production of precast reinforced concrete using solar energy.
Research of local building materials for the production of low-grade cements.
Development and research of effective metal structures in construction
The qualitative composition of the PCO: 9 master’s students, 5 postgraduate students, 10 teachers
Educational and methodical work
The Main Educational Program, the Graduate Model, the Working Curriculum, and the Catalog of Elective Courses for creating students’ individual curricula have been compiled and updated. The Department is developing and improving the teaching materials for all disciplines assigned to the Department. These educational documents undergo internal and external review and are approved by employers. The Subject-cycle Association of Construction has all the necessary conditions for high-quality education, including a computer class, specialized 5 classrooms 102-003-004-library13,14 equipped with modern technical equipment, an electronic library, and internet access. The department’s book collection includes over 100 textbooks and manuals in specialized disciplines.

To prepare students for secondary vocational education in the fields of Architecture, Construction and Operation of Buildings and Structures, Construction and Operation of Engineering Structures, and Construction and Operation of Highways and Airfields, the subject-cycle department has the following facilities: 5 classrooms for lectures and practical classes (Library/13, Library/14, 2/102, 2/003, 2/004).

Construction Subject-Cycle Association (SCA)
Students of the Construction Subject-Cycle Association (SCA) actively participate in the academic, scientific, and social life of the university. The program includes the following specialties:
