Based on the recommendations of the Optimization Commission for the Humanities and Technology College (GTC) and structural reports from the academic office, significant structural changes were implemented for the 2024–2025 academic year. By Order of the Rector No. 09-04/404 dated July 2, 2024, “On Structural Changes of OshTU,” two new departments and the Center for Social and Natural Sciences (CSNS) were established within the College.
Furthermore, in accordance with the Regulations on Organizations of Secondary Vocational Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, all existing departments within the College have been reorganized into Subject-Cycle Commissions (SCC).

Overview and Mission
The Center is a structural unit of the Humanities and Technology College responsible for methodological, scientific, and educational activities. Its primary task is to implement the educational process for approved disciplines based on the State Educational Standards of Secondary Vocational Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, aligning with the GTC mission and institutional work plans.
The Center primarily consolidates the service-oriented general education subjects of the College. It consists of five Subject-Cycle Commissions (SCC), staffed by 87 full-time faculty members:
- Kalbek Mizanovich Berdibaev – Head of the SCC for Mathematical and Natural Sciences.
- Ulukbek Sabirbekovich Elchibekov – Head of the SCC for Social Sciences.
- Nazigul Raimkulovna Suranova – Head of the SCC for the State (Kyrgyz) Language.
- Tattygul Baiyshovna Boroshova – Head of the SCC for World Languages.
- Akylbek Kozuevich Karimov – Head of the SCC for Physical Education and Pre-conscription Training.
Academic Standards and Faculty Development
The Center is composed of highly qualified educators with extensive experience who manage the methodological support of the educational process at GTC. Faculty members are committed to continuous professional growth, regularly participating in:

- Scientific and practical conferences at both municipal and national levels.
- Systematic efforts to enhance their theoretical knowledge and professional expertise.
Educators within the Center, who teach core general education disciplines, actively integrate interactive teaching methods into their pedagogical practice.
Management and Quality Assurance
Monthly meetings are held with the heads of the Subject-Cycle Commissions to monitor and enhance institutional quality. These meetings focus on:
- Teaching quality and student character development.
- Knowledge exchange between senior mentors and young educators.
- Internal disciplinary matters.
Implementing strategic tasks set by the University Rectorship and College Administration.
