History of the Center for Natural Sciences and Humanities
The Center for Natural Sciences and Humanities was established by the decision of the Academic Council of Osh Technological University named after M.M. Adyshev on June 28, 2024 (Resolution No. 9) and the Rector’s Order dated July 2, 2024 (No. 09-04/404). Currently, the Center is headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor A.T. Sattarova.
The Center includes the following departments:
- Department of State and World Languages;
- Department of Social Sciences;
- Department of Exact Sciences;
- Department of Physical Education.
The Mission of the Center:
- Ensuring high-quality fundamental education;
- Enhancing the research potential of professors and students;
- Preparing socially responsible, intellectually advanced, and competitive specialists for the labor market;
- Creating conditions for accessible and quality education through modern educational technologies.
Strategic Directions:
- Department of State and World Languages: Expanding academic and professional opportunities at the international level by improving students’ language competencies.
- Department of Social Sciences: Developing analytical thinking, forming a strong civic position, and providing a deep understanding of social processes.
- Department of Exact Sciences: Providing in-depth knowledge in mathematical and fundamental sciences as the basis for engineering and technical specialties.
- Department of Physical Education: Strengthening students’ health, promoting sports culture, and ensuring comprehensive personal development.
International Relations and Cooperation:
The Center maintains close scientific and methodological ties with leading domestic and foreign universities, including:
- Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev;
- Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov;
- Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn;
- Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev;
- Institute of Natural Sciences of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov (Kazakhstan);
- Andijan State University (Uzbekistan);
- OshState University;
- Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov.
Academic Staff
The educational and research processes are carried out by 41 full-time faculty members, including scholars, experienced lecturers, and support staff:
- 3 Doctors of Sciences, Professors;
- 8 Candidates of Sciences (PhD), Associate Professors;
- 9 Senior Lecturers;
- 21 Lecturers.

Professional Development and Global Integration
Center lecturers regularly undergo training in leading universities of Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Through academic mobility, they participate in international forums and symposia. The Center implements courses on digital skills, distance learning, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the educational process.
