The Department of Legal Work (hereinafter referred to as the Department) of the Osh Technological University named after M.M.Adyshev (hereinafter referred to as the University) is organized as a structural unit that carries out its activities on legal issues in interaction with other departments within the powers granted by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The department reports directly to the rector of the University.
Liquidation of the Department is not permitted, except in cases of reorganization or liquidation of the University.
The department is staffed by employees who have a higher legal education and work experience in their specialty, established by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The department was created for legal support for the activities of the University.
The main objectives of the Department are:
- ensuring compliance with the law in the activities of the University and its officials;
- protection by legal means of property and other legal rights and interests of the University;
- promotion of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, organization of legal training at the University;
- direct participation in the development of draft regulatory legal acts, orders, contracts, and other documents of a legal nature by the competence of the University;
- consideration of draft regulatory legal and other acts developed by the University for compliance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and international treaties that have entered into force by the procedure established by law, to which the Kyrgyz Republic is a party;
- generalization of the practice of application of legislation by the University.
Relations between the Department and other structural divisions or employees of the University are carried out by exchanging documents by hand or via e-mail. If the assignment is to coordinate or edit documents, they are sent in their original form (with an explanation of the task) to the Department via e-mail.
