On June 4, 2024, a meeting of the dissertation Council D 06.23.663 for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences at Osh Technological University was held at Osh State Technical University (co-founders: Osh State University and Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B.Sydykov). The Dissertation Council D 06.23.663 was approved at the Osh Technological University named after M.M.Adyshev by Order No. 74 of the National Attestation Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated January 11, 2023. The Dissertation Council is allowed to accept dissertations for the degree of Candidate of biological sciences in the specialty 01.06.07 – plant protection; for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the following specialties: 02.03.05 -entomology, 02.08.03 – ecology, 06.01.09 – crop production, 06.03.02 – forestry, forestry, forest management and forest taxation

1) Preliminary defense of dissertations:
- a)MurzakulovSovetbek Sydykovich on the topic: “Forestry and ecological state of juniper plantations and introduced tree species of the Turkestan-Alai forest area” for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty 03.02 – Forestry, forestry, forest management and forest taxation, scientific supervisor, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor B. N. Shamshiev.
- b)AdylbaevNurdin Baktybekovich on the topic: The effectiveness of pre–sowing treatment of seeds of new varieties of winter and spring wheat from diseases” for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences in the specialty 01.07 – plant protection, scientific supervisors: candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Dzhunusov Kubat Kushubakovich, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Samieva Zhyrgyl Toktogulovna.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Dissertation Council, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Toktoraliev B.A., who welcomed all members of the Dissertation Council and acquainted the members of the Dissertation Council with the agenda.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Candidate of Biological Sciences, assoc.Teshebayeva Zulumkan Abdymanapovna announced the autobiographical data and attestation files of the dissertators. The meeting of the dissertation council worked according to the procedure, each dissertator made speech on the dissertation work for the report. After the report, questions were asked about the dissertation work, which were answered by the dissertators, each expert announced his expert opinion. During the dissertation meeting, the members of the dissertation council vigorously debated the work of each dissertation, opponents and leading organizations for dissertation works of dissertators were proposed and appointed.
