A team of librarians led by the director of the scientific library of the Osh Technological University Kurbanbay kyzy Akmangul visited the regional library named after Babur of the Andijan region. The visit was organized with the aim of studying modern technologies, equipment, exchanging experiences and strengthening friendship between the two countries.
During the visit, the team of librarians not only exchanged experience, but also studied interesting ideas and ways to introduce innovations to implement their activities.
By decree of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 17, 2008, in order to develop libraries, it was decided that May 27 will be “Library Day,” since the first library in the history of Kyrgyzstan was opened on May 27, 1902.
