Vocational Training Technology (VТT)
In August 1989, by order of the Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz SSR, the specialty “General Technical Disciplines and Labor” (full-time and part-time forms of study, with a duration of 5 years) was transferred to the Osh Faculty of the FPI. The department, teaching staff, teaching support staff, 250 full-time students, and 56 part-time students were transferred.
In 1990, the department was renamed to the department of “Methods of Labor Training”, then in 1991 renamed again to the department of “Labor Training”.
In 1994, the department included the Department of Engineering Graphics so it was renamed to the Department of Professional Training and Engineering Graphics.
In 2003, the department of “Vocational Training” was renamed to the department of “Engineering Pedagogy”.
And in 2008, the department was renamed to the department of “Technology of Vocational Training”.
The following professors have worked as heads of departments since the creation of the department:
In 1995, the department was headed by candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Saitov D.S.
In 2001 – Ph.D., Associate Professor Attokurov U.T.
2004-2008, the department of “Engineering Pedagogy” was headed by candidate of chemical sciences, associate professor B.M. Zholdoshov.
2008-2021, the department of “Technology of Vocational Training” was headed by candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor Aldashov M.K.
From 2021 to the present, the Department of TVT is headed by candidate of pedagogical sciences Berdibekova S.K.
Currently there are 2 candidates of the sciences, 1 associate professor, 2 senior teachers, 3 lecturers, 1 teaching master, 2 laboratory engineer and 1 laboratory assistant.
The TPO department trains graduates in the following areas:
