Currently, the Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics has 6 faculty members and 2 teaching assistants. Among them are two doctors of physical and mathematical sciences, professors: Ashirbaeva A.Zh., Satarov Zh., two candidates of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professors: Saparova G.B., Zulpukarov Zh.A.

The Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics trains bachelors and masters in the field of “510200 Applied Mathematics and Informatics” at the Industrial Pedagogical Institute.

In 2006 and 2011, the Department of Applied Mathematics won the competition in the category “Best Department of OshSU.”
