Accounting of OSHTU is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Law “On Accounting of the Kyrgyz Republic”, “Regulations on accounting for the introduction of budgetary institutions”, other instructions and orders of departments and ministries.
Accounting is conducted in the “1C-Accounting” application program, and in parallel, accounting of fixed assets will be introduced in the accounting program of the State Property Management Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic (FUGI) MAIS ERGI according to the order of the FUGI, and budgetary for tuition fees in the «UNIVER+» application program.
The main tasks of the Osh Technological University`s Accounting Department are:
– systematic formation of complete and reliable information about the activities of entities and bringing it to internal and external users of financial statements;
– preparation of financial statements in accordance with the requirements of this Law “On Accounting of the Kyrgyz Republic” and “Regulations on the introduction of accounting in budgetary institutions” approved by the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, effective at the time of preparation of financial statements;
– implementation and introduction of accounting of fixed assets in the accounting program of the MAIS ERGI Fund of the State Property Management under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– providing information for the preparation of other types of reporting provided by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– providing information for monitoring compliance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the implementation of business transactions by entities;
– adoption of accounting policy and its consistent implementation;
- The existence and functioning of the internal control system;
- Students’ access to open information about the contract and scholarship;
- Exchange of information and close communication with the servicing bank of the Branch of an open joint stock company Keremet-Bank JSC (for all types of payments and cash receipts), as well as other banks and financial authorities.
In the accounting department, OshTU conducts accounting work of 6 full-time accountants, according to the staffing table of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. The structure of the accounting department consists of the following: chief accountant, deputy chief accountant and accountants (material accountant, financial accountant, student accountant).
The accountants of Osh Technological University have higher education in economics, one of them is a candidate of Economics and one is a graduate student of Osh Technological University. Accountants participate in advanced training courses, taking part in various trainings and seminars conducted by the Central Treasury under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and other organizations.
