In order to improve the educational process at the Osh Evening Faculty of the FPI, based on the OTD sector, by order of the Minister of Higher Education and Science of the USSR dated June 14, 1984, No. 202, the Department of Applied Mechanics was established.
The main tasks and functions of the department are:
Ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of teaching.
Improving the scientific and methodological level of lectures and practical classes.
Developing work programs and teaching and methodological complexes for disciplines.
Discussing research papers prepared by department members and graduate students.
Organizing students’ research work and encouraging them to participate in scientific conferences and seminars.
Improving the qualifications of the teaching staff.
Representing the interests of the department staff in university management structures and other organizations.
Conducting classes, seminars, practical and laboratory classes in applied mechanics for students of various specialties.
Developing and improving teaching materials for students.
Participation in the activities of university scientific councils and commissions.
Department projects and programs:
Karimov E.M. scientific project – “Improvement of methods for designing motor roads based on differentiation of zoning.” The project was completed in the 2022-2023 academic year.
Marufiy A.T. research project – “Modeling of bending tasks for various foundation schemes on a deformable base, taking into account conditions close to their actual operation.” The project is planned to be implemented in the 2023-2024 academic year.
