The history of the department
Specialty “Design of architectural environment” 16.03.2001 by the order of the rector OshTU ¹ 7 -01 / 344 in the department “Building Production” engineering and construction faculty was established sector “Architecture, Design and Graphics.
8.10.2004 by the order of the rector OshTU ¹ 09-04 / 319 was created department of architecture, design and graphics. The head of the department was appointed – Tolonbaev M.A., associate professor, member of the Union of Architects of the USSR and KR.
Preparation of specialties: the department with the best professional, high-level teaching staff trains highly qualified bachelors in the specialties “Architecture” and “Design of architectural environment.
Currently the department is headed by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Mamytov Akparali Sydykovich. The department consists of 12 teachers and 2 assistants. There are 2 candidates of technical sciences in the chair – docent Mamytov A.S., docent Rysbekova E.S. S., 3 senior lecturers – member of the Union of Artists of KR, Zhylchiev S. S., member of the Union of Architects of the Kyrgyz Republic – Alishov A.A., Abdimomunova G.O., 7 teachers – Raimzhanova D.S., Suyorkul kyzy B., Nazarova A.N., Kazybaeva A.A., members of the Union of Architects of the KR – Tadzhidinov I.S., Toktobekov S.K., Mamadalinov M.A., laboratory technician – Raimjanova M.O., a training master – Bektemirova M.A.
The department of architecture, design and graphics is located in the 2nd building of the Osh Technological University, room 2/106. The department trains highly qualified bachelors in the directions 750100 Architecture and 750200 Design of architectural environment.
The members of the department – architects, artists, sculptors, graphic designers – are engaged in creative activity out of the working hours and take part in national and international competitions.The department’s material and technical resources meet the requirements for training highly qualified professionals. The area of classrooms and classrooms of the chair 1/114, 1 / 114a, 2/007, 2/101, 2/117, 2/118, 2/201, 2/203, 2/225, 2/322 meet the minimum license requirements.Department staff (supervisors) maintain close communication with students’ parents and arrange meetings to address issues related to the academic process and student behavior. Parents can obtain all information related to the learning process through the OshTU Portal program, which is now successfully available at OshTU and on the university website.The Department of AD&G works closely with the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, design agencies, and firms in the country to train highly qualified bachelors. For example, Osh Oblast, Jalal-Abad Oblast, Batken Oblast Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, Osh City Department of Urban Planning and Architecture, KRIP Design, Osh Gyprostroy, “ArchTB”, “Sandwich”, “Adis-Alay”, “Zodchyi” , “Arh-Aalam” and with other construction companies signed contracts.Students of the department have internships at the above institutions and work as interns outside of classes. Our graduates will be employed at the above institutions.Bachelor’s degree training in the areas: The Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics trains specialists in the following areas:750200 “Design of architectural environment” – qualification “bachelor”, full-time education – 5 years.750100 “Architecture” – qualification “bachelor” full-time – 5 years.Department activities: all conditions have been created for training and creative activities to implement the ideas of students and achieve success, concluded agreements with the workshops: “Osh regional urban development and the main Department of Architecture” and “Arch TB” Ltd.
