The Institute of Innovative Information Technologies is a structural subdivision of the M.M. Adyshev Osh Technological University.
The primary mission of the Institute is the implementation of modern, comprehensive, and innovative educational programs designed to develop the competencies and qualifications required by IT specialists and stakeholders of modern society.
The goal of the Institute is to train Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral (PhD) students in the fields of programming and information technology, while preserving and developing the best traditions of higher professional education and science in Kyrgyzstan.
History of the Institute
Based on the decision of the Academic Council of Osh Technological University, the Faculty of Cybernetics and Information Technology was established in 2000.
Professor Sh.M. Saidamatov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, was appointed as the first Dean of the faculty. Over the past quarter-century, the faculty has trained more than 15,000 specialists in programming and information technology.
On August 26, 2024, the faculty was reorganized and renamed the Institute of Innovative Information Technologies.
The Institute Today
The Institute operates five educational programs supported by a staff of approximately 40 employees, including 2 Doctors of Sciences (Professors), 15 Candidates of Sciences (Associate Professors), and 8 Master’s degree holders.
Currently, the Institute is home to 935 undergraduate students, 62 Master’s students, and 6 Doctoral (PhD) candidates. To enhance the quality of education and train highly qualified specialists, the Institute establishes and strengthens reliable partnerships with employers, alumni, and higher education institutions both within the Republic and abroad.

The Academic Council of the Institute consists of 15 members elected from among the teaching staff and the chair of the Institute’s Student Senate. The chair of the Academic Council of the Institute of Information Technologies is Arzybaeva Mendi Abdisalimovna, and the secretary is Turdubaeva Zhyldyz Alimbekovna.
The chair of the institute’s methodological commission is Sonunbu Zhyrgalbekovna Artykbaeva, candidate of geographical sciences and associate professor.
The chair of the trade union is Zirek Turdalievna Malikova.
