In 1963, the evening faculty of the Frunze Polytechnic Institute was opened in Osh, where general technical training was provided to students from the 1st to the 3rd year.
In 1976, the Department of General Sciences introduced a specialization in “Electrification of Industry, Cities, and Agriculture,” and in 1988, evening training for electrical engineers was organized as a full program.
In 1991, the Department of Electrification and Automation of Agriculture was established, headed by Associate Professor A.U. Umetaliyeva. In the same year, the department began teaching the specialty “Electrification and Automation of Agriculture” in the form of full-time and part-time education. In 1991, the evening faculty in Osh was renamed the High-Tech College in Osh, and began to train specialists in all types of full-time programs.
Associate Professor Umetalieva A.U. established the department. He contributed to the preparation and organization of the educational, material, technical, and laboratory base.
